Shiv Aum Steels Limited has filed its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for FY25 (year ended March 31, 2025) along with the half-yearly results. Standalone revenue from operations came in at Rs 54,819.55 lakhs vs Rs 54,752.84 lakhs in FY24, essentially flat (about 0.1% growth). Standalone profit after tax declined to Rs 966.55 lakhs from Rs 1,016.85 lakhs (down ~5%), while consolidated PAT slipped to Rs 976.89 lakhs from Rs 1,045.92 lakhs. The dip in profits is mainly due to a 13% rise in finance costs (Rs 775.48 lakhs vs Rs 685.06 lakhs standalone). EPS on a standalone basis fell to Rs 7.11 from Rs 7.48. The auditor, Agrawal Jain & Gupta, issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both sets of results. The Board also accepted the resignation of Company Secretary Ms. Aarti Agarwal, effective May 24, 2025, citing personal commitments.
Flat top line with a modest decline in profits is largely neutral for shareholders, though the sharp rise in finance costs and borrowings (short-term borrowings up ~32%, long-term borrowings up 50%) is a point to watch. The clean audit opinion provides comfort, but the Company Secretary exit is a minor governance change.
