Shiva Texyarn Limited, a Coimbatore-based textile manufacturer, reported its Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs 7,618.30 lakhs, up about 25.6% from Rs 6,067.88 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax jumped to Rs 221.25 lakhs versus Rs 126.80 lakhs a year ago, a roughly 74% increase. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.75 (basic) compared to Rs 0.98 in the year-ago quarter. On a consolidated basis (which includes associate L.K. Distributors), revenue was Rs 7,618.30 lakhs and PAT was Rs 245.52 lakhs. Total expenses increased to Rs 7,368.41 lakhs from Rs 5,907.61 lakhs, driven mainly by higher material costs and other expenses. The statutory auditor, VKS Aiyer & Co., issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong year-on-year growth in both top line (over 25%) and bottom line (over 70%) suggests healthy operational momentum, which is positive for shareholders. The clean auditor opinion and absence of any flags or restatements add to the positive read on the quarter.
