Shree Bhavya Fabrics reported a ~16% year-on-year decline in Q2 FY26 revenue from operations at Rs. 4,594.17 lakhs versus Rs. 5,472.82 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For the half year (H1 FY26), revenue fell to Rs. 8,828.46 lakhs from Rs. 10,461.69 lakhs, a drop of about 15.6%. Despite the topline weakness, profitability improved: H1 PAT (total comprehensive income) rose ~27% to Rs. 146.22 lakhs from Rs. 115.26 lakhs, and Q2 PAT grew ~30% to Rs. 73.23 lakhs. Operating EBITDA margins expanded to roughly 6.6% in H1 FY26 from 5.6% in H1 FY25, supported by lower input and finance costs. Basic & diluted EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 0.77 versus Rs. 0.59 a year ago. The statutory auditor (Nahta Jain & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Mixed signal for shareholders: revenue continues to shrink year-on-year, but the company is delivering better margins and higher profits on lower sales. Short-term share price reaction may be muted given weak top-line, though improving profitability is a positive for long-term holders.
