Revenue jumped 72% YoY to Rs 33,727 lacs in Q1 FY27, driven by higher sales volume of 6.06 lakh tons versus 3.59 lakh tons, boosted by the new distribution arrangement with Hi-Bond Cement. EBITDA rose 20% to Rs 3,028 lacs, but EBITDA per ton fell sharply from Rs 701 to Rs 500 due to higher input and logistics costs. PAT declined about 50% YoY to Rs 683 lacs. Management cited geopolitical headwinds affecting costs.
Mixed results: strong volume-led revenue growth but margin compression and sharply lower profits signal cost pressure.
