Revenue from operations rose 72% YoY to about Rs 33,727 lacs in Q1 FY27 (vs Rs 19,595 lacs last year), driven by higher sales volume of 6.06 lakh tons vs 3.59 lakh tons, including 2.49 lakh MT from the new Hi-Bond plant tie-up. However, PAT fell about 50% YoY to Rs 683 lacs from Rs 1,379 lacs. EBITDA margin dropped to near 9% from about 13% as sub-contracting costs surged sharply. EPS stood at Rs 0.46 vs Rs 0.93 YoY.
Strong revenue growth from new Hi-Bond tie-up but margin pressure from higher sub-contracting costs hurt profitability.
