Shri Krishna Devcon, a real estate company, reported its Q2 FY26 results. Income from operations for the quarter rose to ₹430.73 lakhs from ₹397.70 lakhs in the same quarter last year (~8% growth). Quarterly net profit jumped sharply to ₹68.20 lakhs (₹0.24 EPS) from just ₹14.66 lakhs (₹0.05 EPS) a year ago. For the half year, revenue dipped to ₹914.61 lakhs from ₹1,064.50 lakhs (~14% decline), but profit after tax grew ~46% to ₹210.65 lakhs (₹0.75 EPS). Profit before tax for the half year improved to ₹281.53 lakhs, reflecting strong margin expansion from cost optimisation. Cash flow from operations turned positive at ₹99.66 lakhs versus a negative ₹133.34 lakhs in H1 FY25. The auditor (Khandelwal & Khandelwal Associates) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
Despite a half-year revenue decline, sharply higher profitability and a turnaround to positive operating cash flow are positives for shareholders. The significant jump in quarterly PAT and margin expansion suggest improved operational efficiency in the real estate business.
