Shriram Asset Management Company Limited reported unaudited results for Q3 FY26 and 9M FY26. Total income for the quarter rose sharply to ₹350.83 lakhs from ₹140.86 lakhs in Q3 FY25, while 9M income jumped to ₹1,010.08 lakhs from ₹560.34 lakhs, driven by higher asset management fees (₹78.76 lakhs in Q3 vs ₹50.31 lakhs) and strong net gains on fair value changes (₹606.37 lakhs in 9M vs ₹173.69 lakhs). Despite the revenue growth, the company continued to post losses, with a Q3 loss after tax of ₹518.51 lakhs and a 9M loss of ₹1,237.23 lakhs (slightly wider than the ₹1,133.40 lakhs loss in 9M FY25). Diluted EPS for 9M FY26 stood at ₹(7.45). The board also approved the appointment of Ms. Vinita Kapoor as Company Secretary and noted allotment of 22,620 shares under ESOP-2022.
Revenue is growing strongly, but the company remains loss-making with accumulated losses, meaning shareholders should expect continued pressure on profitability even as the business scales. The recent ₹105 crore investment from Sanlam and growing asset management fees provide some support for the longer-term turnaround story.
