Shyam Century Ferrous reported Q3 FY26 revenue of just Rs 83.69 lakh, down sharply from Rs 3,267 lakh YoY, with a net loss of Rs 613.83 lakh versus a small profit last year. For nine months, revenue fell around 75 percent to Rs 2,225.78 lakh and net loss widened to Rs 937 lakh. The company shut its Meghalaya plant in May 2025 due to uneconomical power tariffs. The Board has approved in-principle sale of entire assets, pending shareholder approval.
Sharp revenue decline and plant shutdown raise serious doubts about business continuity; pending asset sale decision is the key catalyst ahead.
