Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹15,137.50 crores for FY25, up about 14.7% from ₹13,195.22 crores in FY24. Total income rose to ₹15,368.13 crores. EBITDA grew strongly to ₹2,096.16 crores from ₹1,729.00 crores, a roughly 21% jump, with EBITDA margin expanding modestly to about 13.6% from 13.0%. Profit after tax (attributable to owners) stood at ₹908.10 crores versus ₹1,034.79 crores last year, the decline appearing mainly due to a large one-time current tax credit in FY24 that flattered the prior year base. Operating cash flow was healthy at ₹1,964.15 crores. The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹2.25 per share (22.5% of face value) subject to shareholder approval. Statutory auditors MSKA & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Strong revenue and EBITDA growth signals healthy operating momentum for shareholders, though headline PAT looks lower only because of an unusual tax credit in the prior year. The clean audit opinion, positive operating cash flow, and dividend payout are supportive, while the leadership transition from founder Mahabir Prasad Agarwal to Brij Bhushan Agarwal as CMD is a notable governance event that may be watched by the market.
