Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited reported strong FY2026 results with consolidated revenue from operations growing 22.4% to Rs 18,552.24 crore from Rs 15,158.63 crore in FY2025. Profit after tax increased to Rs 1,060.47 crore from Rs 908.10 crore, representing 16.8% growth. EBITDA (including share in associates) stood at Rs 2,536.65 crore versus Rs 2,096.16 crore. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.70 per equity share (27% of face value). Additionally, the company announced a major capex plan of Rs 2,700 crore for expanding its Long & Speciality Wire Bar Mill and Stainless Steel capacity, to be funded through internal accruals and borrowings. Ernst & Young LLP was appointed as internal auditors for FY2026-27. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results.
Strong revenue and profit growth demonstrates operational strength, though the Enforcement Directorate's provisional attachment order on a subsidiary (Rs 152.48 crore) for alleged money laundering concerns is a notable risk factor requiring monitoring despite management's refutation.
