Shyam Metalics reported Q1 FY26 consolidated revenue from operations of ₹4,418.84 crore, up about 22% from ₹3,611.61 crore in Q1 FY25. Consolidated profit after tax rose modestly to ₹290.67 crore (from ₹276.12 crore), while standalone PAT jumped to ₹167.64 crore from ₹99.53 crore, a roughly 68% rise. The Board declared an interim dividend of ₹1.80 per equity share (18% of face value), with a record date of July 28, 2025. The Board also approved raising up to ₹4,500 crore through equity, convertible, or eligible securities via QIP, preferential issue, or other permitted routes, and a separate plan to issue unlisted, unsecured non-convertible debentures (NCDs) of up to ₹3,000 crore. Statutory auditors MSKA & Associates issued an unmodified limited review conclusion on both standalone and consolidated results. The 23rd AGM was fixed for August 26, 2025, via video conferencing.
The strong top-line growth and dividend declaration are positive for shareholders, but the sizeable combined fund-raising plan of up to ₹7,500 crore (₹4,500 crore equity-linked plus ₹3,000 crore NCDs) could lead to equity dilution and higher debt, which may temper short-term sentiment until the use of funds is clarified.
