Shyamkamal Investments reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of ₹48.45 lakhs, up sharply from ₹27.55 lakhs in the same quarter last year (about 76% growth), though total revenue of ₹48.56 lakhs was lower than the previous quarter's ₹118.36 lakhs. The company slipped into a small loss of ₹2.19 lakhs for the quarter versus a loss of ₹0.50 lakhs a year ago, mainly because finance costs jumped to ₹27.11 lakhs and expenses rose overall. EPS was effectively zero. The board declared and paid an interim dividend of ₹0.20 per share, and the paid-up equity capital stands at ₹1,349.80 lakhs (up from ₹1,014 lakhs a year ago) after a recent capital raise that cost ₹11.42 lakhs in ROC stamp duty. In a separate item, Mr. Chirag Jitendrabhai Shah was re-designated from Executive Director to Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director.
For shareholders: revenue momentum is encouraging for a small investment/trading company, but persistent losses and rising finance costs signal pressure on profitability, while the auditor's flags on audit-trail compliance and an unverified ₹78.05 lakh old joint-venture receivable are governance red flags worth tracking.
