Sicagen India reported strong FY25 results with consolidated revenue from operations rising to ₹89,188 lakhs (vs ₹79,545 lakhs in FY24, up ~12%) and consolidated net profit jumping to ₹1,711 lakhs (vs ₹1,052 lakhs, up ~63%). Standalone revenue grew to ₹53,915 lakhs and standalone net profit more than doubled to ₹1,453 lakhs (vs ₹885 lakhs). EPS stood at ₹4.32 (consolidated) and ₹3.67 (standalone) for the year. The Board has recommended a dividend of Re.1 per share (10%) subject to shareholder approval. Auditors SRSV & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both sets of results. The Trading segment remained the largest revenue contributor; the Manufacturing segment showed strong growth driven by Cables (Wilson Cables subsidiary). Operating cash flow was healthy at ₹3,346 lakhs (consolidated) and ₹2,386 lakhs (standalone).
Strong double-digit profit growth driven by margin expansion across both segments, combined with a dividend declaration and clean audit opinion, is a positive signal for shareholders. However, total borrowings rose ~36% on standalone and ~27% on consolidated basis, which warrants monitoring.
