Sicagen India reported weaker standalone numbers for Q2 FY26 with revenue from operations at Rs 12,468 lakhs (vs Rs 12,732 lakhs in Q2 FY25, down ~2%) and net profit at Rs 216 lakhs (vs Rs 343 lakhs, down ~37%). For H1 FY26, standalone revenue fell ~12% YoY to Rs 24,625 lakhs and net profit declined ~23% to Rs 583 lakhs. On a consolidated basis, Q2 revenue grew ~14.7% to Rs 22,676 lakhs while net profit was flat at Rs 414 lakhs. An exceptional item of Rs 214 lakhs was reported in the consolidated H1 figures. The board also announced the retirement of CFO M O Ayyappan and appointed K Lalitha as the new CFO effective 5 Nov 2025. Auditor SRSV & Associates issued an unqualified review report.
Standalone profitability has compressed sharply year-on-year on a revenue decline, which may weigh on the stock in the short term. The CFO transition is a key governance item investors should watch, though the appointment of an experienced incoming CFO may be viewed positively over time.
