Siemens Energy India has informed exchanges about an adverse ruling from the arbitration court of St. Petersburg, Russia, dated July 17, 2025. The court declared the 2021 supply contract with Siemens Energy LLC Russia (now Neftegaz & Energetika LLC) and the related advance payments as invalid. The court has awarded approximately ₹443.76 million (around USD 5.17 million) against the Company, along with additional interest at 8% per annum from May 30, 2025 until actual payment. The dispute traces back to a 2020 contract under which the Company had received an advance of ₹349.96 million, terminated the contract in October 2022 citing force majeure, and was subsequently sued by the bankruptcy manager of SE Russia in March 2025 for ₹492.10 million.
