Siemens Energy India reported strong Q2 FY2026 results with revenue up 27.4% YoY to Rs 2,394 crore, driven by robust demand in power transmission and generation. Profit from operations grew 38.9% YoY to Rs 464 crore, with margins expanding 160 bps to 19.4% due to better operating leverage, higher exports, and disciplined execution. PAT surged 52.4% YoY to Rs 375 crore. For the six-month period, revenue was Rs 4,305 crore (+26.8% YoY) and PAT was Rs 689 crore (+44.1% YoY). Order backlog stood at Rs 18,433 crore, up 22.2% YoY. The company recorded an exceptional item of Rs 519 million related to one-time incremental gratuity and compensated absences provisions due to new labour codes. The auditor (Price Waterhouse) issued an unqualified review report with no concerns.
Strong operational performance with margin expansion signals solid execution quality. The 52% PAT growth and 22% order backlog growth indicate continued momentum. The exceptional item is non-recurring and doesn't affect underlying business strength.
