Amit Raj Sinha, a promoter of Sigachi Industries, along with Persons Acting in Concert, has filed a revised disclosure under SEBI SAST Regulations for open market sale of equity shares done between August and September 2025. In the first tranche (Aug 8 – Sep 4, 2025), Amit Raj Sinha sold 73,02,108 shares (1.91% of capital), reducing his individual stake from 5.50% to 3.98%. In the second tranche (Sep 8 – Sep 10, 2025), he sold another 12,07,914 shares (0.32%), bringing his holding further down to 3.66%. The promoter group's combined holding declined from 35.47% to 33.24% as a result of these sales.
The revised filing confirms ongoing promoter selling in the open market, which is generally viewed negatively by retail investors as it may indicate reduced promoter confidence. Shareholders should note the steady reduction in promoter group's equity stake in Sigachi Industries over the past few months.
