SIL Investments Limited reported FY2026 standalone PAT of Rs 3,289 Lakhs (up 24.2% YoY from Rs 2,649 Lakhs), and consolidated PAT of Rs 3,821 Lakhs (up 22.2% YoY from Rs 3,128 Lakhs). However, Q4 standalone showed a loss of Rs 419 Lakhs due to negative fair value changes of Rs 534 Lakhs. Total consolidated income grew 14.7% to Rs 6,462 Lakhs. Other comprehensive income turned significantly negative at Rs (62,442) Lakhs due to mark-to-market losses on equity investments (vs positive OCI of Rs 93,242 Lakhs in FY25). The Board recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share (25%). The company also received an unmodified audit opinion and proposed unsecured loans of Rs 225 crore to related parties including Sutlej Textiles, Avadh Sugar, Magadh Sugar, Palash Securities, Cinnatolliah Tea, and Morton Foods, subject to shareholder approval.
The company delivered healthy bottom-line growth driven by investment income, though the large negative OCI from equity mark-to-market losses reduced total comprehensive income significantly. The material related party transactions of Rs 225 crore require shareholder approval and warrant close monitoring. The clean audit opinion is reassuring for investors.
