Silgo Retail's board approved the preferential allotment of 1.3 crore fully convertible warrants to promoter Nitin Jain. The issue price is Rs 56.25 per warrant for Rs 10 face value, including a premium of Rs 46.25 per share. The promoter paid 25 percent, or Rs 14.0625 per warrant, bringing the total paid amount to Rs 18.28 crore. The warrants are subject to lock-in, and paid-up capital remains unchanged until conversion.
Conversion may increase the promoter's ownership and dilute existing shareholders; paid-up capital is unchanged until then.
