On the reaction day the stock moved 1.3 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.3 pts less than its Household Appliances peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Board of Singer India fixed July 31, 2026 as record date for final dividend of Rs 0.40 per share (face value Rs 2) for FY ended March 31, 2026. Book closure runs August 1 to August 7, 2026 and AGM is on August 7. Board also approved remuneration for Mr. Rakesh Khanna, Executive Vice Chairman and MD, for April 5, 2026 to April 4, 2028, subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
Modest final dividend of Rs 0.40 per share; investors must hold shares by July 31, 2026 to be eligible. MD pay needs shareholder vote.
