Singer India reported strong FY2026 results with revenue from operations growing 29.1% to Rs. 55,733 lakhs from Rs. 43,167 lakhs in FY2025. PAT surged 72.7% to Rs. 1,276 lakhs vs Rs. 739 lakhs the prior year, driven largely by 41.8% growth in the core Sewing Machines segment (revenue up from Rs. 31,929 to Rs. 45,255 lakhs). EPS for the year stood at Rs. 2.07 vs Rs. 1.20 in FY2025. The Domestic Appliances segment continued to be a drag, posting a loss of Rs. 1,053 lakhs for the year (vs Rs. 165 lakhs loss). Statutory auditors BS R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.40 per share (20% on face value of Rs. 2). One-time exceptional items of Rs. 73 lakhs relate to the government's new Labour Codes impact. The company also raised Rs. 448.55 lakhs via preferential allotment and got listed on NSE in March 2026.
The results signal robust operational performance, especially in the sewing machines business. The sharp PAT growth and clean audit opinion are positive for shareholders. However, the ongoing loss in the domestic appliances segment and margin compression in that business warrant monitoring.
