Singer India Limited reported strong financial performance for FY 2025-26 with revenue from operations growing 29.1% to Rs. 55,733 lakhs from Rs. 43,167 lakhs in the previous year. Profit after tax surged 72.7% to Rs. 1,276 lakhs from Rs. 739 lakhs, while basic EPS improved to Rs. 2.07 from Rs. 1.20. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.40 per share (20% on face value of Rs. 2). However, the Domestic Appliances segment continued to be loss-making with a loss of Rs. 1,053 lakhs, significantly higher than Rs. 165 lakhs loss in the prior year. BS R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion. The company also raised Rs. 448.55 lakhs through preferential allotment for manufacturing expansion.
The results show robust growth driven by the Sewing Machines segment, but the widening losses in Domestic Appliances remain a concern. The clean audit opinion and strong cash generation (Rs. 3,702 lakhs from operations) are positive signals for shareholders.
