On the reaction day the stock moved 4.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.6 pts less than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
SJS Q1 FY27: consolidated revenue up 22.8% YoY to Rs. 2,609.98 mn. Standalone net profit after tax doubled to Rs. 597.39 mn from Rs. 273.13 mn, aided by an exceptional Rs. 279.54 mn gain from land sale. Board approved buying the remaining 9.9% in Walter Pack Automotive for Rs. 199.22 mn to make it wholly owned, setting up a new wholly owned subsidiary for display manufacturing with up to Rs. 10 crore, and shifting registered office to Maharashtra.
Strong revenue and profit growth, one-off land sale gain, and full ownership of WPI subsidiary should be positive for shareholders.
