Skipper Limited reported Q1FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 12,538.62 million, up 14.8% YoY from Rs 10,917.44 million in Q1FY25. Standalone profit after tax jumped 41% YoY to Rs 446.60 million (vs Rs 315.90 million), while consolidated PAT grew to Rs 452.55 million from Rs 324.22 million. Basic EPS rose to Rs 3.96 (standalone) and Rs 4.01 (consolidated) versus Rs 2.80 and Rs 2.87 respectively a year ago. Auditor JKVS & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report; this is the first quarter reviewed by them, with the prior year's Q1 figures audited by a predecessor firm. The board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Yash Pall Jain as Whole-Time Director for 3 years from September 6, 2025, and the incorporation of three wholly owned subsidiaries in UAE, USA, and Brazil for selling towers and poles internationally. The 44th AGM is set for September 23, 2025, with a record date of September 16, 2025 for e-voting and dividend.
Strong YoY profit growth and clean audit may support sentiment, but finance costs remain elevated (Rs 529.60 million) and total borrowings rose sharply to Rs 9,889.56 million (up ~41% from Rs 7,014.79 million at March-end), warranting monitoring of leverage. International subsidiary expansion is a positive strategic signal but involves small initial capital (up to USD 80,000 combined).
