On the reaction day the stock moved 1.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.0 pts less than its Heavy Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Skipper Limited informed exchanges that the GST department has filed an appeal against an earlier favorable order. In April 2025, the company received a show cause notice proposing a tax demand of about Rs 10.21 crore for FY 2017-18 and FY 2018-19. On December 1, 2025, the Additional Commissioner dropped the demand entirely. Now the Assistant Commissioner, Park Street Division, Kolkata, has appealed that dropping order before the Commissioner (Appeals-I) under the GST Act. The company will file its objection within the stipulated time.
Earlier favorable order dropping the Rs 10.21 crore demand is now under appeal by the tax department. Company will defend; outcome pending.
