Sky Gold and Diamonds reported strong FY2026 results with standalone revenue of Rs 4,708 crore (up 61% YoY) and net profit of Rs 213 crore (up 91% YoY). Consolidated revenue stood at Rs 6,295 crore with net profit of Rs 282 crore. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The company changed its depreciation method from Written Down Value to Straight Line Method from April 2025, which inflated standalone profit before tax by Rs 386 lakhs and consolidated profit by Rs 693 lakhs. The board also approved re-appointment of Ms. Aasna Shah as Internal Auditor for FY2026-27 and initiated a postal ballot for appointing M'S K A & Associates LLP as new statutory auditors to fill a vacancy.
The company delivered exceptional revenue and profit growth above 90%, which is positive for shareholders. However, the depreciation method change artificially boosted profits, and negative operating cash flow of Rs 24 crore (standalone) despite strong profits suggests working capital pressures. The ongoing change in auditors may raise minor concerns among investors.
