SM Auto Stamping reported its H1 FY26 (April–September 2025) results. Standalone Net Sales rose about 10.5% year-on-year to Rs 3,412.15 lakhs from Rs 3,089.41 lakhs, while Standalone Net Profit jumped to Rs 49.15 lakhs from Rs 22.07 lakhs, a growth of roughly 123%. Consolidated Net Profit (including share from associate SM Autovision) climbed to Rs 78.61 lakhs from Rs 26.34 lakhs, about three times the previous year figure. Total expenses rose to Rs 3,400.46 lakhs, but profit-before-tax more than doubled to Rs 69.53 lakhs, pointing to better operating efficiency. Net cash from operating activities was positive at Rs 70.21 lakhs (standalone) and Rs 99.68 lakhs (consolidated). The statutory auditor issued an unqualified limited review opinion but flagged that trade payables and trade receivables balances remain subject to confirmation and reconciliation.
Strong profit growth on moderate revenue increase signals margin expansion, which is positive for shareholders. However, the company is small, operates only in auto components, and the auditor's emphasis on pending receivables/payables reconciliation is a minor watchpoint for investors.
