Subsidiary Pulin Comtrade gets SEBI Settlement Order in NSEL matter

SMC Globals wholly owned subsidiary Pulin Comtrade (formerly SMC Comtrade) received a SEBI Settlement Order under the NSEL Settlement Scheme 2025 on September 11, 2026. The subsidiary, in its broker capacity, had facilitated paired contracts on NSEL that allegedly violated the regulatory framework. Settlement terms: payment of Rs 9.10 lakh plus 6 months voluntary debarment from proprietary trading and taking new clients in the commodity segment.
