Smiths & Founders (India) Limited reported Q3 FY26 (quarter ended 31 Dec 2025) net sales of ₹335.62 lakhs, up about 4% from ₹322.48 lakhs in the same quarter last year but down roughly 7% from the previous quarter's ₹362.07 lakhs. Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹24.31 lakhs, a sharp 35% drop from ₹37.39 lakhs in Q3 FY25, though marginally higher than the ₹23.21 lakhs earned in Q2 FY26. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue grew nearly 9% YoY to ₹1,084.41 lakhs, but net profit fell about 29% to ₹73.81 lakhs from ₹104.27 lakhs. Total expenses rose faster than revenue, indicating margin pressure—EBITDA margin for the nine-month period compressed to roughly 12% from about 17% a year ago. The auditor, SNR & Company, issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Despite steady top-line growth, the steep fall in profits and notable EBITDA margin compression may concern shareholders and could put short-term pressure on the stock. EPS for nine months slipped to ₹0.07 from ₹0.10 in the prior year period.
