On the reaction day the stock moved 0.9 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.0 pts more than its Agricultural Commercial & Construction Vehicles peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
SML Mahindra won its appeal against a Rs 2 lakh penalty (plus Rs 0.5 lakh each on three officers) imposed by the Registrar of Companies, Punjab and Chandigarh, in August 2024. The Regional Director (Northern Region), MCA, New Delhi, through an order dated 25 September 2025, set aside the original penalty order. The company received the order on 16 December 2025. No financial impact as penalties stand reversed.
Positive for shareholders - earlier penalties fully set aside on appeal, no financial burden on the company
