SML Isuzu received an order from the Additional Commissioner of Central Tax (GST-Appeals), Guntur on 23 September 2025. The authority allowed the company's appeal against an earlier GST order (DRC-07 dated 27.12.2023) for the period July 2017 to March 2020. As a result, the tax demand of Rs. 0.15 lakh and the equivalent penalty of Rs. 0.15 lakh were set aside. The original allegation related to a mismatch of input tax credit (ITC) availed and non-reversal of ITC against credit notes.
