Solar Industries India reported strong Q1 FY26 results. Consolidated revenue from operations rose about 28% YoY to ₹2,154.45 cr (from ₹1,684.80 cr), while net profit grew roughly 17% YoY to ₹352.62 cr (from ₹300.54 cr). Standalone performance was even sharper, with revenue up about 33% YoY to ₹1,387.15 cr and net profit jumping nearly 44% YoY to ₹279.52 cr. Consolidated operating margin compressed to 22.23% from 24.42% YoY, partly due to a ₹17.89 cr hit from applying hyperinflationary accounting for Turkey subsidiaries. Debt-equity ratio improved to 0.18 (from 0.28). Prior-period figures were restated following finalisation of purchase price allocation for the Problast Group (South Africa) acquisition.
Strong top-line growth and margin expansion on a standalone basis are positives for shareholders, though consolidated margin slipped due to overseas/hyperinflationary adjustments. Healthy balance sheet (low debt, strong interest coverage) and ongoing capacity expansion through acquisitions suggest continued growth momentum.
