Solarworld Energy Solutions reported strong full-year results with standalone revenue more than doubling to Rs 12,020 million from Rs 5,463 million in the prior year. Profit after tax grew 51% to Rs 1,327 million from Rs 876 million. The company completed its IPO in September 2025 raising Rs 4,900 million, which significantly expanded its balance sheet with total assets jumping to Rs 14,804 million from Rs 5,245 million. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter regarding a pending dispute with SJVN Green Energy Limited — a suspended EPC contract worth Rs 4,592 million where the company has filed claims of Rs 2,193 million before a Dispute Adjudication Board. During the period, Independent Director Ms. Rini Chordia resigned as Chairperson, and Mr. Kartik Teltia was appointed Chairman & Managing Director effective May 27, 2026.
The company delivered exceptional revenue and profit growth, boosted by IPO proceeds. However, the unresolved SJVN dispute represents a contingent risk — the outcome of the DAB proceedings could materially affect receivables of Rs 515 million already on the books. The board restructuring adds governance uncertainty.
