The board approved a 300% interim dividend of Rs 6 per share for FY2026-27, payable within 30 days to shareholders on the 13 November 2026 record date. Q2 standalone revenue was Rs 778.4 crore and net profit Rs 41.7 crore; consolidated revenue was Rs 853.5 crore and net profit Rs 41.6 crore. It approved buying up to 24.75 lakh shares of Somany Sanitary Ware for cash, lifting its stake from 51% to up to 76%. The purchase price is not disclosed.
The dividend may support sentiment. More subsidiary ownership could increase the company's share of profits and control, but cash costs are unknown.
