Span Divergent Ltd reported mixed results for Q2 FY26. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell to ₹36.57 lakhs (from ₹43.42 lakhs in Q2 FY25), and standalone PAT for Q2 was ₹11.51 lakhs. Standalone H1 FY26 PAT was ₹54.26 lakhs versus ₹58.20 lakhs in H1 FY25, a slight decline. On a consolidated basis, however, total income surged to ₹965.47 lakhs in H1 FY26 from ₹693.83 lakhs in H1 FY25 (about 39% growth), driven mainly by the cashew processing segment. Despite revenue growth, the company swung to a consolidated loss of ₹35.78 lakhs for H1 FY26 (versus ₹3.87 lakhs loss in H1 FY25), with a deeply negative other equity of ₹(850.23) lakhs. The auditor's review report is unqualified but flagged that two subsidiaries (Biospan Scientific LLP and Biospan Contamination Control Solutions Pvt Ltd) have negative net worth and are being carried on a going concern basis. Standalone operating cash flow turned negative at ₹(11.44) lakhs and cash balance dropped sharply from ₹42.06 to ₹2.76 lakhs.
Consolidated losses and eroding equity raise concerns about the group's overall financial health, despite strong revenue growth. Shareholders should note the going concern flags on key subsidiaries and the sharp cash decline at the standalone level, which could pressure near-term liquidity and weigh on the stock.
