Spencer's Retail posted Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 376.28 cr, down 15 percent YoY. H1 revenue fell 21 percent to Rs 722.50 cr. Standalone H1 loss after tax narrowed to Rs 64.83 cr from Rs 117.24 cr a year ago. Consolidated H1 loss was Rs 125.40 cr on revenue of about Rs 1,150 cr. Operating cash outflow was Rs 59.55 cr standalone and Rs 76.81 cr consolidated. The company disclosed current liabilities exceed current assets by Rs 748.75 cr standalone, yet management used a going concern basis citing promoter support, credit lines, and cost cutting.
Revenue continues to shrink but losses are narrowing. Going concern note flags balance sheet stress, though promoter backing and store closures aim to improve margins. Watch turnaround progress.
