SPIC's Board approved its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited financial results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs. 780.63 crore from Rs. 754.34 crore in Q1 FY25, a modest ~3.5% growth. Standalone net profit grew ~13.5% to Rs. 58.27 crore from Rs. 51.35 crore, with EPS at Rs. 2.86 (vs Rs. 2.52). On a consolidated basis, net profit was Rs. 66.71 crore (vs Rs. 62.55 crore). The Urea plant operated for 91 days, producing 1.92 lakh MT and selling 1.86 lakh MT. Other income of Rs. 17.52 crore includes a one-time Rs. 14.89 crore compensation from transfer of an equipment structure after lease termination, which lifted earnings. Subsidy of Rs. 651.96 crore was booked on a provisional retention price basis.
Results show steady operational performance with a modest top-line growth and decent profit improvement, partly aided by a one-time gain. A dividend of Rs. 2.00 per share for FY25 and a confirmed AGM on September 23, 2025 offer near-term positives for shareholders, while the appointment of a senior IAS officer as TIDCO's nominee reflects continued government backing.
