Spice Islands Industries has declared its first interim dividend of Rs. 0.50 per equity share (5% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY 2025-26, with the record date set as November 21, 2025. The dividend will be paid within 30 days of declaration. Along with the dividend, the board approved Q2/H1 FY26 results showing a sharp turnaround — half-year revenue jumped to Rs. 366.47 lakhs (from Rs. 34.40 lakhs in H1 FY25) and the company swung to a profit of Rs. 111.42 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 87.22 lakhs a year ago. The board also approved warrant-to-equity conversion, a Rs. 2.50 crore bank loan, purchase of a property in Andheri, and three new hotel lease arrangements (Hotel Somprabha in Veraval, Just Naturals Wellness Resort in Jim Corbett, and Grand Ladhukara in Dwarka) to expand its hospitality business.
The 5% interim dividend on face value is modest, but the strong H1 turnaround and aggressive hospitality expansion could positively influence investor sentiment. Shareholders must hold shares by the November 21, 2025 record date to be eligible for the dividend payment.
