On the reaction day the stock moved 2.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.8 pts less than its Transport Services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
SpiceJet told BSE that DGCA's review of its finances is routine regulatory monitoring, not a new safety finding. The airline said it was removed from DGCA's enhanced surveillance in 2024 after fixing issues, and recorded zero Level 1 safety findings in 2025. It denied any undisclosed negotiations or material information behind the recent stock price movement.
Clarification may ease some concerns, but ongoing DGCA financial scrutiny could keep sentiment cautious.
