On the reaction day the stock moved 4.3 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 4.8 pts more than its Other Agricultural Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Spright Agro's board will meet on 18 September 2025 to consider a 10:1 bonus issue (ten bonus shares for every one held), funded by capitalising free reserves or securities premium. It will also consider recommending a dividend of up to 100% on equity share capital for the current financial year, and evaluate a strategic entry into AgriTech through in-house builds, partnerships, technology licensing or a subsidiary. Q1FY26 results show revenue of Rs 62.02 crore, up 17.4% year-on-year, and net profit of Rs 9.15 crore, up 46.6% year-on-year. The company has also completed Rs 299 crore worth of agro commodity supply orders across three clients.
If approved, the 10:1 bonus issue will sharply expand the share base and typically lifts short-term trading interest, though it does not change the underlying value of the company. The proposed 100% dividend signals strong cash generation, but the AgriTech foray is still in evaluation stage and carries execution risk.
