SRF Limited announced its audited Q4 and FY25 results on May 12, 2025. On a standalone basis, FY25 revenue from operations grew about 8.4% to Rs 11,698 crore, but net profit fell roughly 7.7% to Rs 1,268 crore (EPS Rs 42.78 vs Rs 46.35). Consolidated revenue rose 11.8% to Rs 14,693 crore, while consolidated PAT declined about 6.4% to Rs 1,251 crore. The Chemicals segment (Rs 6,649 cr) and Performance Films & Foil segment (Rs 2,600 cr) were the main growth drivers, while Technical Textiles grew modestly. Operating margin compressed to 17.10% (from 18.11%) and net profit margin fell to 10.84% (from 12.74%), indicating margin pressure. The board recommended a Nil final dividend, despite strong cash generation of Rs 2,264 crore from operations. Auditor B S R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Debt-equity improved to 0.29 from 0.35.
Mixed bag for shareholders: revenue growth is healthy but the decline in profits and margins, combined with a Nil final dividend despite robust cash flows, may weigh on the stock in the near term. Long-term investors may note the strong operating cash flow and improving balance sheet, but margin compression and the dividend skip are near-term negatives.
