Standard Surfactants posted strong Q1 FY27 results. Total income from operations rose to Rs 10,280 lakhs, up about 92 percent from Rs 5,364.92 lakhs in Q1 FY26. Net profit after tax surged to Rs 629.74 lakhs versus Rs 45.70 lakhs year on year. Basic EPS improved to Rs 7.65 from Rs 0.36. Results include an exceptional net loss of Rs 3.84 Cr from an insurance claim accounted on an estimated basis. Auditor Mittal Gupta and Co. gave an unqualified limited review.
Strong revenue and profit growth signal improving business momentum. The insurance claim loss is a one-time item not affecting core operating performance.
