Star Cement’s board declared an interim dividend of Rs1 per share, equal to 100% of the Rs1 face value, for FY2026-27. The record date is 13 November 2026, and payment to eligible shareholders is due within 30 days. The board also approved unaudited Q2 and first-half FY2026-27 results and put its plan to raise up to Rs1,500 crore through a share issue on hold, saying projects will be funded by internal accruals or bank borrowings.
Dividend supports returns, while deferring the share issue postpones dilution. Project funding via borrowings may raise debt and interest costs.
