Star Cement Limited announced its Q2 FY26 (quarter ended September 30, 2025) financial results, approved at the board meeting on November 4, 2025. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations grew 31.5% YoY to ₹521.67 crore in Q2 and 22.8% YoY to ₹1,066.41 crore in H1 FY26. Standalone profit after tax stood at ₹15.35 crore in Q2, a turnaround from a loss of ₹37.87 crore in Q2 FY25. On a consolidated basis, revenue surged 49.7% YoY to ₹810.94 crore in Q2, with PAT jumping from ₹5.66 crore to ₹71.06 crore. Consolidated H1 FY26 PAT grew over 4.5x to ₹169.23 crore. The company also disclosed plans to raise up to ₹1,500 crore (subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot) through private placement, preferential, rights issue, or QIP. Statutory auditor Singhi & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report.
Strong revenue growth and a sharp return to profitability, both on standalone and consolidated basis, signal a significant operational turnaround. The proposed ₹1,500 crore fund raise could lead to equity dilution but may also support capacity expansion and growth plans, and is a key point to watch for shareholders.
