Star Delta Transformers reported FY25 revenue from operations of Rs 14,186.43 lacs, up marginally by about 1.2% from Rs 14,014.68 lacs in FY24. Total revenue (including other income) actually dipped slightly to Rs 14,321.30 lacs versus Rs 14,412.99 lacs, as other income fell sharply from Rs 398.31 lacs to Rs 134.87 lacs. Profit before tax declined to Rs 1,430.06 lacs from Rs 1,501.28 lacs, and profit after tax fell to Rs 1,062.78 lacs from around Rs 1,106 lacs. EPS dropped to Rs 35.42 from Rs 37.05. The Board did not recommend any dividend for the year. Statutory auditors gave an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results, and operating cash flow improved meaningfully to Rs 703.53 lacs from Rs 263.78 lacs.
Weak show for shareholders — flat topline growth, falling profits, lower EPS, and no dividend. However, cleaner cash conversion is a positive. Likely to be viewed negatively by income-focused investors in the short term.
