Starteck Finance Limited has filed its unaudited Q1 FY26 results (consolidated and standalone), reviewed by statutory auditors M K P S & Associates LLP with a clean (unmodified) limited review report. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose about 11% YoY to ₹782.41 lakhs, while total income (including other income) jumped to ₹1,022.49 lakhs from ₹727.57 lakhs. Net profit after tax surged to ₹354.36 lakhs, more than double the ₹170.82 lakhs earned in Q1 FY25 (a ~107% increase), with EPS rising to ₹3.58 from ₹1.72. Standalone results were broadly similar, with PAT at ₹345.01 lakhs (up ~106% YoY). A large part of the profit growth came from a sharp increase in 'other income' to ₹240.08 lakhs versus just ₹25.27 lakhs a year ago, which appears to reflect fair value gains on investments routed through Other Comprehensive Income as well.
Headline profit growth is very strong and EPS has more than doubled, which is positive for shareholders. However, investors should note that the outsized PAT jump is significantly aided by a near tenfold rise in other income, which may not recur every quarter; the underlying core revenue growth is more modest at around 11%.
