Steel Exchange India posted Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 26,971 lakhs, down 10% YoY from Rs 29,999 lakhs. Net profit rose 47% to Rs 1,503 lakhs versus Rs 1,023 lakhs. Operating EBITDA margin expanded to 13% from 12%. Board approved director remuneration and continuation of an independent director beyond age 75. Company allotted equity shares from warrant conversion and issued new warrants, raising about Rs 14,090 lakhs. Auditor gave an unmodified review opinion.
Higher profits on lower revenue show better cost control. Equity dilution from warrant conversions may pressure the stock near term.
