Infomerics upgraded Steel Exchange India's long-term rating by two notches to IVR BBB+/Stable (from BBB-/Stable) and short-term rating to IVR A2 (from A3), based on FY26 audited results. Rated bank facilities enhanced from about Rs 200 crore to Rs 359.63 crore. Listed NCDs of Rs 198.56 crore also upgraded. Total rated quantum now Rs 558.19 crore. This is the second successive upgrade after December 2025.
Improved credit standing, likely lower borrowing costs, and greater financial flexibility. Positive signal for shareholders.
