On the reaction day the stock moved 4.9 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 5.4 pts more than its Iron & Steel Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Steelco Gujarat posted Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 52.18 crore, up sharply from Rs 33.48 lakh a year ago, aided by a rights issue of Rs 14.89 crore. Despite the top-line jump, net loss widened to Rs 14.98 crore versus Rs 4.64 crore, dragged by total expenses of Rs 67.55 crore. The steelmaker remains deeply leveraged with debt-equity at 97.47 and negative debt service coverage.
Shares may remain pressured as heavy debt and widening losses outweigh revenue growth; equity holders are diluted by the recent rights issue.
