Step Two Corporation Limited, a Kolkata-based NBFC, submitted its unaudited financial results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26, which were approved by the Board on 13 November 2025. The company reported a loss of around Rs. 110.58 lacs for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs. 24.56 lacs in the same quarter last year. For the half year ended September 2025, the loss widened to Rs. 240.80 lacs versus Rs. 86.02 lacs in H1 FY25. EPS for H1 FY26 stood at Rs. (5.66) versus Rs. (1.17) in the previous year. Total expenses for the half year rose sharply to Rs. 612.50 lacs, while total income was Rs. 139.52 lacs. The statutory auditor M K Kothari & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report.
Shareholders should note that the company has swung back into quarterly losses and its half-yearly loss has nearly tripled year-on-year, with expenses far outpacing income — a worrying sign for the small NBFC. The stock may see negative sentiment given the deteriorating earnings trend.
